The nib Group has a mission and vision of people enjoying better health and support when travelling. Through our success, we aspire to more prosperous and sustainable communities, not only the creation of enterprise value.
nib is a trusted partner, supporting every traveller on their journey, from dreaming & planning to returning home safely. We’re looking for people who share this passion and want to be a part of a team that has the appetite and ambition to be extraordinary. Extraordinary comes in different perspectives and experiences. We’re committed to an environment where everyone has the autonomy and freedom to be their authentic selves, every day.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the brand strategy, impacting both the short and long term success of nib’s global travel brands. This role will have a primary focus on World Nomads and secondary focus on Travel Insurance Direct and nib Travel Insurance. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a key member of the Marketing and Brand team, leading the strategic brand activities and insights. You will also:
- Manage a cross-functional team to support the delivery of the strategy
- Identify initiatives that are performing and underperforming – ensuring brand goals are met
- Work with key stakeholders and ensure travel insurance sales are supported through brand strategy
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative research and insights and lead a data driven approach to brand strategy
We’re obsessed with travel and insatiably curious about the world. Our passionate team of global citizens, traveller advocates and creative storytellers have been protecting, connecting and inspiring our travel community.
Proudly part of the nib Group, nib Travel is Australia's third largest travel insurer and global distributor of travel insurance, providing financial protection and assurance to travellers wherever they are in the world. At nib Travel we are guided by a traveller-at-heart philosophy and are passionate about the customer experience. We are a highly collaborative team, who thrive in an agile environment where growth and change are the norm. We love to explore and experiment and have a lot of fun along the way.
Our flexible travel insurance products cover travellers from over 130 countries – and enable them to give back through our Footprints program, a small donation to help fund community development projects. However, we want to be a part of the entire travel journey, which is why we offer language phrasebooks, and tons of travel content to help inspire, educate and prepare our community for their adventures.
Be part of a forward thinking experienced team, leading the go-to-market brand strategy. Your experience from a travel or adventure background is extremely helpful as is a background in brand and research strategy. You will have that natural ability to interpret data in meaningful ways, always striving to clarify, simplify and inspire the team around you.
So, if you think you have the level of experience we're looking for, and you’re ready for a new challenge working with some of our people and brands, we’d love to meet you.
The nib Group is a highly collaborative, purpose led and values driven organisation. To support you at work (and play), we offer some fantastic benefits including but not limited to:
- Employee health insurance discounts

- Paid parental leave
- Gym discounts and fitness incentives
- Short-term incentive programs
